Charity Foundation “Kremenchuk Tails”
We are an ordinary family who simply cannot walk past those in need.
Since 2009, with the support of my husband Viktor, I have dedicated my life to rescuing and caring for homeless animals.
That’s how our charity foundation — “Kremenchuk Tails” — was born.
We take under our wing those whom fate has turned away from.
Each animal has its own story — often a painful one — but in our home, they find warmth, love, and a chance for a new life.
Before 2009, I worked as the head of the Regional Police Canine Center,
so I know how to provide proper care and attention to help every rescued animal adapt and feel like part of a family.
Over the years, we have rescued and rehomed more than 1,000 dogs and cats!
And today, under our care live:
🐶 164 adult dogs,
🐕 35 puppies,
🐱 54 cats,
and 🐾 15 kittens.
My life takes place within the walls of my beloved shelter.
For its sake, I have sacrificed everything — my career, my personal life, and my own needs.
Every morning I wake up at 5:00 a.m. to feed the tails, clean, replace bedding, change the hay, and care for the sick or those recovering after rehabilitation.
And I go to bed after midnight.
We live modestly, without luxury or comfort.
My husband works as an ambulance driver and earns a minimum salary.
I cannot leave the shelter even for a day — every animal here needs care and attention.
But despite all of this, we are happy.
Because our furry friends are warm, safe, and loved.
They are our life. ❤️
We continue to rescue, treat, and find homes for animals —
and we will do this for as long as there is strength in our hearts.
We ask all kind-hearted people for support:
without your help, our shelter has no chance to survive.
